The other co-founder?

So I was sifting through the forum and all of a sudden found myself drawn to SYT's history.....
I think that it would be pretty beneficial, well not so much beneficial but helpful(?), If we had a total thread dedicated to SYT's history and our Heroic founding fathers I for one have no idea how SYT got started and how it lasted for the last 7(?) years?

I think that it is a fairly interesting idea to play with, maybe even a few words from the almighty Kael himself?

ALSO! Does anyone know anything about the other co-founder of SYT? Sheng-ji Yang? I was really curious about this and I think that others would be too

Sheng was one special character! Kael would know more about that...

And lasting 7 years... Man I feel old. Must be sheer tenacity that keeps us going!

Well, I'm a bit old my self. As for SYT llc or Sheng Yang Ta`em Transport. Yang and I worked in a lab together. But we worked on deferent shifts. He worked 10:00 to 6:00 and I was 5:00 to 11:00 but I always came in one hour before that. It was about 9 years ago he found the SWC. He showed it to me and we both started playing. We found we could talk (email) each other via DM and IS couldn’t see what we were saying. But we wanted more. We found a problem with the SWC. You couldn’t trust any one who did transport. Freelancers couldn’t be trusted. And big government factions controlled the two transport factions. So we decided to start a NFG co. of freelance pilots and it worked. Yang left us for a while to the lab to go to a bigger lab and bigger money.(good for him)
About year or so after that he left SYT to help a couple of start up Factions get up and running. Then sadly he ran in to a sun on he way home. (wife ,kids, work and a long drive were to much.) So he didn’t get a chance to see SYT become a faction. At the same time I went blind and had a lot more time on my hands. So did I go blind because we went faction?
I have to tell ya, That was a hard time. Yang and half the pilots were gone, helping Yang no less. Then he sunned, I started the faction as I was lousing my site. And had to learn how to use a PC with out seeing it.
If we had not had algol and Darlene SYT would have died a sad death.

So just to clear up some stuff real quick what do llc and NFG stand for?

NFG: non-faction grup
LLC: limeted La-ba-ba partnership

We put the LLC on so we would look bigger than two guys with two slow ships...it worked
